Shelly Dunbar is a Vice President for CommCap Advisors focusing on loan origination. Dunbar brings several years of commercial real estate experience to her new role. Prior to joining CommCap, Shelly worked for Nevada State Bank in Reno, focusing on business development for commercial lending. Dunbar gained valuable real estate experience in Las Vegas working for CommCap as an Analyst, reviewing and underwriting loans. As Director of Marketing for Northcap Commercial, Shelly oversaw the marketing for over 2,500 condominium/multifamily units. While at Northcap she launched over ten projects and was responsible for maintaining each property’s brand standards and assisting the COO with property operations. Prior professional positions include Preconstruction Coordinator for The Penta Building Group and an Intern/Real Estate Analyst for Triple Net Properties. Shelly holds a B.S.B.A in Finance and Marketing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is involved in NAIOP of Northern Nevada, and Reno’s CCIM chapter.

Formerly, Shelly was actively involved in the Las Vegas community serving on the UNLV Alumni Board and ULI Management Committee as the Chairwoman of the Fundraising Committee. She was on the board for Helping Hands of Vegas Valley and was Chairwoman of the Fundraising Committee. While actively participating with Helping Hands, she founded one of the charity’s annual fundraisers, “Shoot for Seniors”. Shelly is also a proud graduate of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce 2011 Leadership Las Vegas program and the NAIOP 2014 Developing Leaders Institute.
